About the Club

The Rodney Beekeepers Club is a beekeeping club formed in February 2014. We are enthusiastic about bees and meet to share information and provide support on beekeeping. We welcome beekeepers of all experience levels and ages — whether you've been working bees for years or have never touched a hive ever before, you are very welcome to join us!

Our Objectives

• To learn more about bees
• To become better beekeepers
• Have fellowship and develop friendships, both at meetings and otherwise
• Foster relationships between hobbyist and commercial beekeepers
• Encourage horticulturists and those with other relevant interests to join

Monthly Meetings

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month. Our venue is the lounge meeting room of St Matthews Church, 60 Garfield Road, Helensville — diagonally opposite Helensville Primary School.

Drive into the driveway; the meeting room is down the back where you'll find plenty of parking. No need to RSVP for your first visit — just come along!
